The Manchester Easter Holidays are coming up and we know our families are always on the lookout for fun things to do to fill their days. To help you out, we’ve done a quick round up of 8 activities the whole family can join in with here at Z-arts!
1. The 100 Story Hotel
Our brand new interactive world of play and storytelling, made with author and illustrator Rob Biddulph and Discover Story Centre, opened last month and is already incredibly popular! The 100 Story Hotel has all sorts of interesting and odd guests to stay, but one of the 100 amazing stories has gone missing! Can you follow the clues and help track it down? Learn more.
2. Grooving with Pirates
Family favourite Groove Baby invite you to come on a swashbuckling adventure sailing the seas in this exciting, jazz and funk fuelled show especially for 3 – 7s and their grown-up crews! 3. Free Easter Storytelling
Come and join us in our Children’s Library for some Easter Storytelling. From 9 – 12 April at 11am we’ll be reading Rob Biddulph’s “Happy Hatchday”. Book in your free tickets now to avoid disappointment. Learn more.
4. The Library of Enchantment – Family Escape Room
If you’ve not tried out our immersive family-friendly escape room yet, then the Easter holidays might be the perfect time! Fun-filled, thrilling and a true test of you puzzling skills, logic, imagination and teamwork, The Library of Enchantment is the perfect adventure for the whole family or a group of friends. 5. There’s a Monster in Your Show!
Due to enourmous demand, we’ve just added an extra performance of There’s a Monster in Your Show! This magical show full od comedy and chaos is not to be missed this Easter. Learn more.
6. Free Hulme Park Story Trail
Our self-led story trail launched in February and is the perfect outdoor adventure for the whole family, simply collect a story trail from our Box Office and head across the road to Hulme Park! Learn more.
7. Wellbeing Wonders – Easter Holiday Activity
Four days jam-packed with fun and enriching activities for children who are on free school meals. Join us for an unforgettable Easter break filled with laughter, learning, and adventure! Learn more.
8. Enjoy our building!
Why not just hang out with us at Z-arts for the whole day! We’ve got lots to keep little and big kids entertained whatever the weather…
Grab some food or drinks from our cafe, read a book in our Children’s Library, express yourself and have a doodle on our colouring sheets, hang out in the toy corner or even take a ride on our big red bus! We’re even going to be creating a Gregasaurus Dino Trail throughout our building for everyone to join in with.
