Box Office Terms & Conditions

  • Tickets for all performances can be purchased on our website at z-arts.org, in person at Z-arts, or by calling our Box Office on 0161 226 1912.
  • Our usual Box Office opening hours are 9am – 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday and 9am – 4:30pm on a Saturday.
  • Please note, that we are generally closed on Mondays and Sundays unless we have a theatre show/activity that falls on these days.
  • Payment for tickets can be made in cash, by cheque, or by credit or debit card. Online payments are processed using a secure server operated by WorldPay.
  • Bookings made online will be confirmed by email.
  • You will be provided with a booking reference. Please quote this when contacting us about your booking.
  • If you are under 18 years old you may purchase tickets only with the involvement of your parent or guardian.

Tickets Refund Policy

  • Tickets cannot be refunded unless a performance is cancelled.
  • Tickets can be exchanged for another performance, subject to availability, as long as the request is made at least 48 hours before the performance.
  • Please note a £3 admin fee per ticket will apply.
  • Please note, should you need to cancel your booking for The Library of Enchantment, our policy is as follows:

    • We offer one free transfer for the booking to a different date with 48 hours’ notice.
    • With less than 48 hours’ notice, there will be a £25 administration fee to move the booking to an alternative date.

Group Discounts & School Bookings

  • Groups of 10 – 39 get 10% off each full-price ticket. This will be automatically deducted at the checkout.

Access for deaf, disabled, and/or neurodivergent people

  • We aim to make your visit to Z-arts as enjoyable as possible and try our best to cater to everyone’s needs. Please see our Access page for information, and to discuss your specific requirements – we are always happy to help!
  • We offer essential companion tickets. This is a free ticket for someone accompanying a deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent person if they feel they require one.
  • You can book a wheelchair user seat online, over the phone, or in person. Look out for the ‘wheelchair’ & ‘C’ symbol on our theatre seating plans.

Attending a performance or event

  • Attendees should arrive to collect tickets at least 15 minutes before the start time. If you have received an e-ticket we recommend you head to Box Office to check in with our friendly team.
  • All tickets are offered subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • All adults and children over 12 months need to have a valid ticket.
  • Babies under 12 months are free unless the show/event is specifically for the age range.
  • We can accommodate pushchairs or buggies in our theatre corridor during the performance. Depending on the show, we can pop them in the theatre.
  • For all of our shows and events, we allow latecomers. Families are free to nip out and come back in if some time outside would be helpful or an emergency loo trip is required!
  • If you think you have lost something at Z-arts, please contact us as soon as possible on 0161 226 1912 or email boxoffice@z-arts.org. All lost property will be held at Z-arts for one month, after this time it will be donated to charity or disposed of.
  • No children will be admitted unless they are supervised appropriately by a grown-up.
  • Z-arts is a public building – smoking is not allowed at any time.
  • You must comply with the instructions and directions given by our friendly team. To identify a Z-arts team member, they will be wearing a branded t-shirt or lanyard.

Photography & Video

  • Z-arts uses photography and video at events to promote our activities, build new audiences, and report to funders.
  • These images may be used on our website, social media channels, in press releases, and in written reports.
  • Any events being photographed will be clearly signposted to make our audiences and the public aware.
  • Don’t want to be photographed – no worries, just let one of the Z-arts team know.
  • We will seek parental / guardian consent to take photos and videos of children and young people under the age of 18.

Data Protection

  • We would like to keep you updated about all things happening at Z-arts, by the Data Protection Act, we will ask your consent to do this.
  • If you wish to be removed from our marketing communications or have your information removed from our database, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. You can unsubscribe to our emails at the bottom of a marketing email from us.
  • To process your booking, our Box Office will ask for and store your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • We will not pass on your details to third parties without your consent.
  • You can check the information we hold about you by contacting us and, if you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or correct them accordingly.

General & Marketing

  • We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You should check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made. Thank you!
  • Unless otherwise indicated, all graphics, logos, and commercial markings are registered trademarks. You may not use, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or modify any Trademarks in any way, including in advertising or publicity about or distributing materials, without prior written consent.
