Mission: Mad Hatter is a family escape room experience at Z-arts Manchester – a 75-minute Wonderland adventure for ages 9+.

Can your team of riddle-cracking and quick-thinking explorers rescue the Mad Hatter’s tea party guests before the tea gets cold?

Working in teams of up to six, you’ll use a digital tablet to navigate the twists and turns of Wonderland. It’s a race against time to uncover curious clues, solve mind-mangling puzzles, and rescue the Mad Hatter’s missing guests – just in time for tea!
Part family escape room, part scavenger hunt, part digital adventure – all set within Z-arts’ magical Adventures in Wonderland space. Created in collaboration with Supermassive.
What to expect
• Meet the Mad Hatter on the riverbank, collect your digital tablet and begin your quest
• Solve hands-on puzzles and follow clues as you journey through Wonderland
• Work as a team – you’ll need logic, creativity and a bit of Wonderland thinking
• You’ll share the space with other teams, but your route will be unique
• You’ll have just 75 minutes – will you find all the Mad Hatter’s guests before time runs out?

Good to know
• Ages: designed for ages 9+ (adults & escape room fans welcome!) Children aged 7+ can join as part of a family group.
• Team size: 3 – 6 players
• Supervision: Each team must include at least one adult (except child-only sessions)
• Child-only slots: Available at 12:40pm & 3:40pm for children aged 9+ – our Mad Hatter will be there to supervise.
