Technical Manager

Role: Full time Technical Manager

Salary: £24,000

Z-arts are looking to recruit a new Technical Manager to join the Z-arts team, helping to bring to life high-quality children’s and family arts and theatre experiences. You will provide efficient technical services for all events in public, performance and other spaces for all productions and participatory projects, with particular focus on the theatre. You will be responsible to the General Manager and responsible for the Technical Assistant.

Digital Apprentice

We are working with Juice Academy to find an enthusiastic, bright, self-motivated individual to join its team in Manchester as a Digital Marketing apprentice.

As an apprentice with Z-arts you will be given the opportunity to gain further qualifications and progress your career in a varied and challenging digital marketing role.

Developing Young Musicians Programme

We are excited to announce that we are working in partnership with One Manchester and PRSF to develop a young musicians programme in collaboration with award-winning jazz musician and composer Arun Ghosh.

Arun is a clarinet player renowned for infusing his work with elements characteristic of traditional Indian music, jazz and world music. With vast and diverse experience in instrumentation and production Arun will be an exciting mentor for those looking to step into the creative music industry.

Once a week, 12 developing musicians aged 16+ will work with a musician along with benefitting from being mentored monthly and performing in collaboration with Arun himself at Z-arts.

The programme will include:

  • Weekly sessions with a range of musicians in our Levi’s Music Lab
  • Monthly mentoring with Arun
  • Live gigs with Arun
