Introducing your little ones to theatre can be a magical, but sometimes daunting, experience. Here at Z-arts we love helping families to introduce their youngest children to theatre, in a relaxed, gentle and playful environment.
If you joined us for The Snowy Day in December 2025, we’re sure you’ll be delighted to know we have more baby and toddler theatre shows coming up in 2026, alongside our fantastic programme of free activities for pre-schoolers.
Sensory theatre shows for ages 0+
Counting Sheeps
Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 March | 11am & 2pm | ages 0–3
Two sheep think they know everything about sleep.
They’re experts in the field.
But tonight… they’re wide awake.
Snuggle up and join two sheep on a journey through the joys and frustrations of everything bedtime. A touching, musical adventure filled with sensory play, for 0-3 year olds and their (very tired) grown ups.

Take Flight
Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 May | 11am & 2pm | ages 0–2
A stunning aerial theatre experience for babies.
Take Flight follows a musical mother bird as her baby hatches, grows and begins to explore the world. This multi-sensory, interactive show ignites the imagination and curiosity of babies who are then invited into the space with the performers.
