Children exploring the immersive Wonderland set at Z-arts, Manchester, as part of Mission: Mad Hatter

Z-arts launches Mission: Mad Hatter – A Wonderland Quest

Mission: Mad Hatter – Interactive Wonderland Adventure for Kids | Z-arts, Manchester

A brand-new interactive Wonderland quest for ages 9+, now open at Z-arts

The Mad Hatter’s tea party has taken a strange turn – all the guests have vanished through the Looking Glass! Can you rescue them before the tea gets cold?

Mission: Mad Hatter is Z-arts’ brand-new immersive experience for children aged 9 and above – part escape room, part scavenger hunt, part digital adventure. Set within our much-loved Adventures in Wonderland space in Hulme, Manchester, it’s a fast-paced, puzzle-packed quest where teams race against the clock, guided by a digital tablet, solving hands-on challenges, cracking codes and uncovering hidden clues at every turn.

One year on from the launch of Adventures in Wonderland for ages 1 – 8, Mission: Mad Hatter extends the journey for older children who are ready for something more challenging. If your family loves escape rooms, or you’re looking for something genuinely different to do with kids in Manchester, this one’s for you.

Created in collaboration with creative technology studio Supermassive, it’s unlike any other family experience in Manchester right now.

How it works

Meet the Mad Hatter on the riverbank, pick up your digital tablet, and you’re off! Teams of 3 – 6 players have 75 minutes to work together, think fast, and rescue the Mad Hatter’s tea party guests. Sessions run every 20 minutes, so there’s plenty of opportunity to find a slot that works for your family.
