Minimum of 20 tickets per group. 1 adult free for every 10 students.Manchester Musical Youth present their debut performance at Z-arts with the gothic musical thriller and Broadway hit Jekyll and Hyde. Based on the timeless tale by Robert Louis Stephenson, the performance tells the tale of Dr. Henry Jekyll, a brilliant young doctor obsessed with discovering the secret to separating the good and evil and whose experiments on himself release the dark side of his personality – the diabolical Mr Edward Hyde.

 

Featuring well known show songs such as “This is The Moment”, “Someone Like You” and “Take Me As I Am”, a powerful ensemble and spectacular direction and musical direction from experienced artistic team Dan Jarvis and Kimberly Holden along with the phenomenally talented young cast, this is set to be a show to remember.

Manchester Musical Youth (MMY) is a new theatre company for young performers brought to you by an established, experienced and successful artistic team, with a track record of creating the very best in youth theatre productions such as Les Miserables (2013), Footloose (2013), Sweeney Todd (2014) and The Phantom of the Opera (2014) to name but a few.

Their aim is to bring together, encourage and develop the most talented young performers throughout the Greater Manchester area so that they can experience the highest, most professional standard of musical theatre outside the West End. They strive for excellence in every aspect of their productions and believe that age is no barrier to quality.

Workshops take place at Z-arts on Fridays from 6-9pm.
