Join Hattie for the day and become Eco-warriors! You will use household objects to make your own Eco Sculptures whilst exploring important questions such as why do we waste and how can we help to spread awareness.

Hattie is an upcycling artist who creates artworks by recycling discarded furniture into whimsical creatures reacting to their salvage from landfill. Born from a need to make art affordably with increasing grief surrounding the climate crisis, Hattie’s work refrains from using new materials, aiming to oppose the consumer-driven nature of our society. Hattie’s playful approach aims to address upcycling and the waste issue in a more accessible way, motivating people to believe they can make exciting, imaginative artworks using materials that already exist in the world.

Hattie has exhibited in: Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, York, London, leading upcycling workshops at various art institutions across Yorkshire and the North West.
