About the Show
One winter morning, Peter woke up to find the world outside his window transformed. Snow had fallen overnight, covering everything as far as he could see.
Join Peter as he crunches through the snowy streets of his New York neighbourhood in this intimate and magical adventure, specially designed for the littlest of theatregoers and their grown-ups.
The Snowy Day has been designed to help little ones and their grown-ups feel as happy and comfortable as possible. Families can sit and watch the show, jiggle around in a relaxed space, or even let their hands dance along to the music!
The performance lasts 30 minutes, the perfect length for tiny audience members, and when the story ends you’ll be invited to “Come and play!”. Little ones can join in the fun, playing with fluffy snowballs during a special stay and play session before it’s time to head home.
Brought to life by Polka Theatre and Can’t Sit Still, the award-nominated company behind Oh No, George! and Well Done, Mummy Penguin, this enchanting production features one dancer, original music, and a captivating set. Perfect for children aged 1–4, The Snowy Day offers a delightful introduction to theatre and a heartwarming celebration of winter magic.

A Magical Christmas at Z-arts
