Saturday 7 June, from 10am
We’re kicking off Z-arts’ Environment Week with a jam-packed Family Fun Day that celebrates our love of stories, green spaces, and of course, libraries! Join us on Saturday, 7 June from 10am for a brilliant morning of live shows, workshops, and creative fun for the whole family.
The day begins with a very special 45-minute live show from the creators of Luna Loves Gardening – the latest in the much-loved Luna series. Award-winning poet and author Joseph Coelho OBE, Z-arts’ brand-new Patron, and illustrator Fiona Lumbers will bring their book to life through a live reading and illustration. Discover Luna’s world and see storytelling magic unfold before your eyes!

Next, join Emma Reynolds, author and illustrator of Amara and the Bats, for an interactive workshop filled with fun bat facts, adorable plushies, and a hands-on draw-along session.
📚 Book signings available after both sessions!
The fun doesn’t stop there – stick around for drop-in creative workshops where children can explore gardens, wildlife, and green spaces through art and play. It’s the perfect day out for green-fingered bookworms and budding storytellers!
🎟️ Tickets are limited – book now and be part of something inspiring!
