Street Dance 

Reception – Year 2 (ages 4-7)

Get ready to move! In Street Dance, we build confidence, stamina, and seriously cool moves – exploring the styles that make street dance so iconic, from breakdance and waacking to house and hip hop.

We’ll create dance battle scenarios and learn upbeat, stylised dance moves to epic dance tracks.

Skills & Benefits:

• Builds confidence, stamina, and self-expression through learning a range of street dance styles, including breakdance, waacking, house, and hip hop.
• Encourages creativity and individuality as dancers explore their own unique style through freestyle play and experimentation.
• Develops musicality, coordination, and performance skills through upbeat choreography and fun dance battle scenarios.

When: Fridays at 5:15pm

Age: Reception – Year 2 (ages 4-7)

What should I wear: Something comfortable, you can dance in!

Please note that all Dance and Drama classes are now preparing for their Showcase on Saturday 28 June. This means that children must be signed up to these classes via Tabitha, please email her at tabitha@z-arts.org if you have any questions or need to sign up. All other Bright Sparks classes will continue as normal and remain available to book as usual. We can’t wait to see you all shine on stage!
