Storytelling Exchange Sessions with Jan Blake

Z-arts is delighted to announce our new Resident Storyteller – Jan Blake.

Jan is a world-renowned storyteller, born and based in Manchester and specialising in myths and folk tales from the Caribbean, West Africa, North Africa and beyond.

This new project starts this October and to kick off Jan’s residency we’re hosting two Storytelling Exchanges in Z-arts Children’s Library.

Jan will bring magic, myths and tales and will be asking you to bring your own stories from your families too!

This new project will be the start of a number of new events coming to Z-arts and we’d really welcome your feedback and input throughout the sessions.

The dates of the sessions are:

  • Tuesday 29th October at 4pm
  • Tuesday 26th November at 4pm

To book, please email marketing@z-arts.org with:
– Your name
– How many people are coming? (Adults and children)
– The date(s) you’d like to come

We have space for 25 people so it will be first come, first serve.

We can’t wait to hear from you and bring you with us on this exciting journey!
