The multi award winning Manchester Musical Youth presents ‘Calamity Jane’!
In the wild-west outpost of Deadwood City, 1876, we find the sharpshooting tomboy, CALAMITY JANE surrounded by cowboys, townsfolk, and the famous Wild Bill Hickok. After a mix-up in the talent pool at Deadwood’s saloon-theater The Golden Garter, Calam goes to Chicago to import to Deadwood the glamorous actress, Adelaid Adams. She returns with her maid Katie Brown instead, inadvertently catapulting Katie to local stardom and into the arms of the only man Calam has ever had eyes for, Lieutenant Danny Gilmartin. This hilarious classic features the timeless score including “Windy City”, “Secret Love” and “The Black Hills of Dakota”
