Lunchtime Play

Join Eyeline Theatre and Productions for a performance of ‘The Bookclub’ & ‘The Legacy’ – 2 brand new plays.

The Legacy – This play focuses on MATTY and CATHY in their conservatory.  They look out at their idyllic view of the garden. MATTY has ostracised his son DOMINIC for being selfish. CATHY tried to keep the peace as DOMINIC persistently tries to contact his dad. Does he succeed or just give up the ghost?  The message of this short play is “never assume”.

The Book Club – The third meeting of a local book club takes place at GEORGE and MADDY’s house. A stranger interrupts the lively debate and tensions arise. The stranger has something up her sleeve. How will the group deals with it? A tale of truth, irony and denial.

Produced by Joan Kempson (Coronation St/Early Doors)

Directed by Liz Hume – Dawson (Dinner Ladies/4 ơclock Club)

Supported by Z-arts

Just a heads-up: Z-arts is a children and family arts centre, so our booking process may reference children and families – please ignore this. Lunchtime Play is an adult-only show, and tickets should only be booked by and for over-16s.
