Labelled by many as the greatest of the Broadway musicals, this compelling tale is inspired
by the memoirs of burlesque star Gypsy Rose Lee with her archetypal stage mother, Rose,
at the centre as she steamrolls everyone in her way to propel her daughters into child
stars. Rose is forced to accept the demise of vaudeville and the rise of burlesque, as well as
her daughters’ quest for autonomy.

The sizzling score features many Broadway anthems such as “Everything’s Coming Up
Roses”, “Some People”, “Rose’s Turn”, “Gotta Get A Gimmick” and “Let Me Entertain You”!

This production of GYPSY features a full live orchestra and runs for 5 gripping performances
at Manchester’s Z-ARTS Theatre.
