Z-arts offers a diverse and exciting programme of creative learning activity for Secondary School pupils. By partnering with Z-arts, secondary schools gain access to industry professionals, practicing artists, and work experience opportunities.
At Z-arts we believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to experience the arts and explore creativity for themselves. Our creative learning activity is designed to support the development of artistic skills in young people, and encourage the take up of arts subjects at GCSE, A-level and college level.
Our Masterclasses and After-school activities focus on developing creative skills and understanding across dance, drama, music, and visual arts. Our Z-artists are skilled professionals with the ability to inspire and encourage the next generation of artists and creative thinkers. All sessions and projects are tailored to the needs of individual schools, and can explore other subject areas or themes.
Z-arts works closely with teachers to design bespoke Bright Ideas workshops which are linked to the sensitive and difficult issues that young people face. Themes such as Body Image, Racism, Bullying, Online Safety, and Sexuality are addressed and explored through carefully considered creative sessions.
We present Children’s Theatre shows throughout the year at Z-arts through our Big Imaginations programme, which are available to schools for group bookings.
