The BFG (PG) – Film Club Screening

Join us for a FREE screening of The BFG, one of our favourite books by one of our favourite authors! Dress up as your favourite Roald Dahl hero for the The Dahlicious Dress Up Day to help raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

Make a dream catcher before the film and reserve your seat in our cinema for just £1.

The Ministry of Lost and Found

Leo Lost hasn’t been seen since the Ministry’s 123rd anniversary last year and Frankie Found needs your help to track him down. Is he lost, hiding or has something more mysterious happened?

The Ministry of Lost and Found is a secret department protecting the most curious and precious objects ever lost or found. Join Frankie and all our Ministry friends for quests, adventures, fun and games for one day only.

National Poetry Day

Find your inner poet with our resident artists on National Poetry Day. Using art, music and movement we’ll be responding to the well-loved poem, The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear.

Z-access Family Fun Day

Our free family access day returns, this time with accessible drama, dance, music and arts and crafts activities themed around the Big Imaginations Festival! All the activities are free and are designed specifically for people with disabilities and additional requirements.

Grimm & Co Takeover

Unleash your imagination in the magical world of Grimm and Co! Immerse yourself in activities designed to spark creativity and empower writing, including interactive storytelling, wand crafting, spell writing, and potion brewing!

Each time slot includes all 3 activities. Presented in partnership with Manchester Literature Festival.

Suitable for: 8 – 11 years

 

October Half Term

Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November

Spooky Tales

Join us for half term activities inspired by the spectacularly spooky Raddlesham Mumps! Use physical theatre, drama and comedy to bring eccentric ancestors to life and use a range of creative techniques to make a spooky family cast of puppets to perform in your own handmade travelling theatre kit.

Time: 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm

Cost: Frighteningly FREE! (15 places per time slot, must be available for the whole week)

Suitable for: 6 to 10

 

Every Friday in Z-cafe

Friday Night is Family Night

Visit Z-café for free Lego board games, arts activities and music every Friday! Each week we explore a different theme through arts and crafts. There are snacks and drinks available to purchase so you can unwind and relax.

Time: from 3.30pm

Family Jam

Join us in Z-café for Family Jam – an upbeat and vibrant evening of amazing live music where people of all ages can enjoy the music, jam along with percussion instruments and play some games.

Time: 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Family Cinema Club Relaunch with IntoFilm

Cinema without the price tag! Relaunching for Autumn 2019 our family film club is back every Friday night. Join us for this special event in partnership with IntoFilm for a great film, goodie bags and popcorn galore. Then each week will be a different film from our IntoFilm curated season.

Time: 5.00pm

Cost: Free, booking required.
