Z-arts and Levi’s® Music Project songwriting competition

Make some noise, we’re running a songwriting competition!

The winner will receive a recording package at Z-arts and the Levi’s® Music Project Studio worth £300 to use when we reopen.

This competition is open to any age group and musicians from any genre.

Each song must be:
● At least 1 minute long
● An original composition (no covers)
● You can create your own backing track, you can be accompanied by an instrument like a guitar or piano, you can bang on the table or use a backing track found on YouTube – it’s up to you!
● You can deliver the song as a video taken on your phone or as a Mp3/wav file from your computer. If you’d like to record using a different method get in touch with Jack – jack@z-arts.org first to make sure we’ll be able to play it.

We’ll be judging all entries to the songwriting competition based on the quality and originality of the song, so don’t worry too much about the quality of the recording as long as we can hear you!

Submit your competition tracks to jack@z-arts.org by Wednesday 22nd April at 5pm. Email Jack if you have any questions or queries. Feel free to send us your tracks before the deadline to get advice and feedback!

The winner will be announced on Friday 24 April

Good luck and happy songwriting!
