Tunde and the Story Book – Sharing

by Elayne Ogbeta

Join us for a reading of a brand new piece of theatre. The story is ‘Tunde and the Storybook’. It is set in an alternative universe where physical books have become relics of the past, replaced entirely by big screens.

For his birthday, Tunde’s dad takes him to a curiosity shop, where Tunde stumbles upon an old, battered storybook with no title or author. Intrigued, he decides to bring it home. But this is no ordinary book—when Tunde opens it, he discovers that it can talk!

Together, Tunde and the Storybook embark on a thrilling adventure, uncovering long-lost tales and searching for the book’s true identity. Along the way, Tunde learns about the importance of having an imagination, the magic of stories and the power they hold beyond the pages.

We will be sharing some key scenes from the play with a good dollop of music and fun, taking you to the sights and sounds of Tunde and his storybook.
