About the show
Spanish artist Javier Urbina, The Lord of the Bubbles, presents a wordless theatrical show where soap bubbles become the language of wishes. Mixing vapour and helium bubbles, delicate structures, impossible tunnels and playful audience participation, he creates a poetic visual world on stage.
Guided by a subtle narrator’s voice, the show flows like a dream: small touches of magic link each act, while bursts of comedy break the solemnity and make both children and adults laugh. With an almost cinematic soundtrack and carefully crafted lighting, The Lord of the Bubbles has been evolving on stages around the world for almost twenty years.
A family-friendly, surprising and deeply atmospheric experience that leaves audiences with that rare mix of calm and wonder that only the most special, fleeting and authentic moments can create.
