The Gondoliers
The award-winning Sale Gilbert and Sullivan Society returns to Z-Arts with a wonderful production of The Gondoliers.
A tale of Two Gondoliers who discover that one of them is a Prince, stowed away at birth and kept in hiding. But a case of mistaken identity between the two means that both Gondoliers must reign jointly as King until the identity of the true King is discovered.
To add to the chaos, the Gondoliers, both of whom are married, discover that the King, whichever he is, was married at birth to the daughter of the Duke of Plaza-Toro and is therefore and unintentional bigamist!
This excellent collaboration by Gilbert and Sullivan, brought to life by the incredible cast of Sale Gilbert and Sullivan Society, is an evening of enjoyment not to be missed and promises to leave you with feelings of pleasure!
