Primary education

We have worked extensively with pupils and teachers at Primary level on a whole host of creative projects.

We have lots of experience injecting creativity across the curriculum for example visual arts in history (shadow puppets & greek mythological creatures), spoken word and comic book work in Literacy and dance and movement for Science and Geography. We can deliver anything from one off arts tasters to arts weeks, transition projects or special events such as international days or Black History Month.

Our popular after-school projects can incorporate curriculum themes, lead to an end of term performance and include parents and families (sessions include samba, street dance, drama and screen printing)

Our team of professional artists reflect our vibrant cross cultural programme with art forms from around the world such as bollywood, capoeira and african drumming.

As an Apple Regional Training Centre we promote the use of creative ICT across the curriculum, offering teachers free advice and training courses that demonstrate how to incorporate ICT into your teaching.

We are also proud to have taken part in the national Arts Award pilot, meaning our trained Arts Award Advisors are here to offer creative support for schools wishing to run the new Discover and Explore agenda.

Z-arts is a creative educational resource for schools so please get in touch if you need support to develop a project idea or wish to explore creative practices into your curriculum.
