FE/HE

Along with our comprehensive primary & secondary offers we also provide a wide range of opportunities for Further and Higher Education students to get involved with Z-arts.

Students can visit our venue to see theatre productions and exhibitions from Manchester artists and International touring companies, participate in professional master classes and gain an insight into working in the creative industries.

Z – arts is a creative hub home to a mix of creative tenants (including DIGM, One69a, hÅb and Company Chameleon) and as such we can tailor projects that demonstrate creative pathways for young people by hosting industry panel events, practical workshops and enterprise days.

At this level our programme is all about furthering your students’ artistic interest, developing their own work and sense of themselves as artists. Our creative spaces offer students space to rehearse, perform and exhibit their own work.

We host placements for BA and MA students including Youth & Community Work and Arts Management as well shadowing and volunteer opportunities in project management and artistic facilitation. We are partners with Manchester Metropolitan University and work closely with the Art & Design and History faculties setting live briefs and developing new educational projects for schools.

Z-arts is a creative educational resource for higher and further education so please get in touch if you need support to develop a project idea or wish to explore creative practices into your curriculum.
