How do creativity and education work together?

Creativity and learning are at the heart of Z-arts, and of many other organisations too. So it’s time we got together to discuss them!

On Wednesday 6 June we’ll be holding our first symposium on the relationship between creativity and education. The day will be buzzing with industry professionals getting together to discuss the importance of collaboration and cooperation between the education, creative and cultural sectors.

We’ll be joined by nationally recognised industry experts who will be presenting the latest innovative ideas, practices and research.

Guest speakers will include;

Suzanne Smith, Jana Kennedy & Ali Gadema, Z-arts Associate Artists

Caz Brader, Deputy CEO & Director Of Cultural Programmes, Curious Minds
Emma Degg, CEO of the North West Business Leadership Team
Jane Beardsworth, Director North, Arts Council England
Jeremy Jackson, Principal, Webster Primary School accompanied by his pupils
Nicky Morgan, Special Projects Director, Arts Council England
Prof Jude Robinson, School of Law and Social Justice, University of Liverpool,

Z-arts will also be joined by staff and children from Webster Primary School to share their experiences of My Planet, Z-arts’ innovative Lever Prize funded schools project which took place last year.

If you are a creative or educational professional please join us at this exciting, innovative day.

The cost of the Symposium of £25 includes refreshments, lunch and networking drinks.

Bursaries are available for artists and students. Please contact paul@z-arts.org to request a bursary by providing details of your current employment or education status and the reason you wish to attend.
