Calling all artists and performers in the North West who are making work or interested in making work aimed at children and families… We want to meet you at the Big Imaginations Online Open Evening!
Big Imaginations is a network of 21 arts organisations, dedicated to bringing brilliant children’s theatre to the north and beyond. We want to expand our network of artists and help you to create shows, workshops and events for children and families.
To do this, Big Imaginations is excited to announce the latest round of Artist Imagination Fund funding. This year the fund is broken down into 3 different pots all supporting different levels of work. These three levels are:
Big Imaginations are hosting 3 open evening style events that you can join free of charge to learn more about them. They will tell you about Big Imaginations and the opportunities to connect with them, you can meet members from the network and hear about the open call for artists to apply for the Artist Imagination Fund.
Big Imaginations Open Evenings
We are holding You have 3 open evening options to pick from. They are as follows:
Monday 13th May 2024, 5:30pm – 7:30pm – In-person at The Met Bury, Market St, Bury BL9 0BW
Wednesday 15th May 2024, 6:00pm – 7:00pm – Online, delivered via ZOOM
Friday 31st May 2024, Day Time – In-person at Blackburn Market/Blackburn Central Library (Blackburn).
Please note: None of these open evenings are being hosted at Z-arts, so please do not come to Z-arts expecting the open evening.
Isah-Levi Roach (Z-arts and Big Imaginations Artist Development Producer) is also offering 1-to-1 chats with artist who are interested in applying to speak about the fund, your work/practice and answer any questions you may have. These 1-to-1’s will be on Monday 3rd June 2024.
