Our Alice is a contemporary adaptation of Lewis Carrols novel, influenced by the 1972 film Alice in Wonderland starring amongst others Dudley Moore and Peter Sellars. Mixing live theatre and multimedia performances; we use humour and satire to look at the diversity and the lived experience of people within a support organization. The organisation City Care Partnership works to achieve parity between A-typical and the Nuero-diverse people; within the organisation and the wider society. Our Alice is an endearing, funny and warm theatre experience that has taken 2 years to create. We proudly invite you to participate, in a memorable evening of fun and laughter. Tickets are free but we welcome donations to our future performances.
City Care Partnership is proud to present this performance, “Our Alice,” adapted by David Skillin, Antony Crowther and Sheila O’Neill.
The performance is a relaxed performance. The auditorium lights will be on low throughout the performance. There are no loud bangs, pyrotechnics or strobe effects. The cast will move up and down the aisles during the performance. All wheel chair spaces will be on the front row as the theatre has tiered seating. There will be loud music at times during the performance.
