Cinema without the price tag! Relaunching for Autumn 2019 our family film club is back every Friday night. Join us for this special event in partnership with IntoFilm for a great film, goodie bags and popcorn galore. Then each week will be a different film from our IntoFilm curated season.

Friday 8 November – Wall-E

WALL-E is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But over 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he’s more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.

Friday 15 November – Robots

In a world of sentient robots, striving young inventor Rodney Copperbottom wants to work for the Bigweld Industries making spare robot parts. But Bigweld Industries has just been taken over by the villainous Phineas T. Ratchet, who wants to make all robots submit to profitable forced upgrades. In this animated adventure, Rodney and his friend Fender go underground to fight Ratchet’s evil plans.

Friday 22 November – Hugo

Orphaned and alone except for an uncle, Hugo Cabret lives in the walls of a train station in 1930s Paris. Hugo’s job is to oil and maintain the station’s clocks, but to him, his more important task is to protect a broken automaton and notebook left to him by his late father. Accompanied by the goddaughter of a grouchy toy merchant, Hugo embarks on a quest to solve the mystery of the automaton and find a place he can call home.

Friday 29 November – Big Hero 6

Robotics prodigy Hiro lives in the city of San Fransokyo. Next to his older brother, Tadashi, Hiro’s closest companion is Baymax, a robot whose sole purpose is to take care of people. When a devastating turn of events throws Hiro into the middle of a dangerous plot, he transforms Baymax and his other friends into a band of high-tech heroes.
