We offer work experience/placements for all ages. We link our work experience / placements to projects and building activity to ensure a great experience is had by all.

If you would like to apply for work experience as a research placement, university or other post-secondary placement please email gilly@z-arts.org indicating the dates you would like to do and your areas of interest.

Secondary School Work Experience

Throughout the academic year, Z-arts hosts work experience placements for Secondary School students interested in gaining an insight into a career in the arts, or working towards an Arts Award qualification.

Our Work Experience placements offer practical and hands on experience of the arts working environment and job roles, including; marketing, administration, technical theatre, participation and outreach, and front of house. The placement opportunities are available throughout the year, and are most suitable for students in Key Stage 4 and older. In most cases, a placement will take place over two weeks, but other flexible options may be available on a case by case basis.

Placement applicants should include information about why a placement at Z-arts would be beneficial, future aspirations, and available dates. Please note that whilst we do our best to accommodate work experience requests, our busy programme timetable occasionally means that we are unable to host placements.
