Sat’dy Allsorts

Saturdays, 11am-1pm, Free

Sat’dy Allsorts are an urban music collective based at Z-arts who write, record and perform their own music.

I love that my daughter spends her Saturday mornings playing & creating music,  her afternoons again being creative in a really inspiring  inclusive and informal setting with old friends and new

Allsorts is one of Z-arts key projects and has been running for several years under the guidance of talented industry professionals who volunteer their time to help inspire our young musicians.

The performers are 11-19 years old and range from grime MCs to soul singers. They meet every Saturday morning 11-1pm to work on their tracks and all of them write lyrics and songs in their own time.

Last year, Allsorts are working with musicians from Bridgewater Hall on an exciting composition project involving live orchestral instruments. You can see the results of their first at Bridgewater Hall performance above.

Already this year they have performed at numerous venues, have produced their own fanzine and three of our core members even got the opportunity to perform at the Eden Project after winning a regional Peacemix competition!

If you, or someone you know is interested in joining Sat’dy Allsorts then email or come down to one of our Saturday sessions from 11am – 1pm.
