Do you hear the people sing? Manchester Musical Youth return this summer with one of the greatest musicals ever written. This classic story by Victor Hugo adapted for the stage by the legendary song writing team Boublil and Schönberg follows the story of Jean Valjean as he is released from years of unjust imprisonment. Breaking his parole in search of a new life, he is pursued by Inspector Javert who himself is forced to confront his own ideals and beliefs as he is tormented by Valjean.

Set with the backdrop of of the 1832 uprising in Paris, Les Misérables is an epic, grand and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit.
